About The Movement
THE PURPLE PARADE, inaugurated since 2013, is a unifying national platform to promote awareness and celebrate abilities of Persons with Disabilities. The core of The Purple Parade movement seeks to ensure that Persons with Disabilities are included in the main chapter of Singapore’s growth and have equal access to education, employment, transport and social networks.
Our VISION is for the spirit of the movement to continue for many more years to come; and for Persons with Disabilities to be fully included, valued and celebrated in our country.
It is a ground-up movement spearheaded by various organisations from the People, Public and Private, and supported by the Central Singapore Community Development Council (CDC) and The Purple Parade Limited (TPPL).
About Our Brand
Marked by its iconic purple square, THE PURPLE PARADE logo symbolises solidarity for Persons with Disabilities.
Its four sides represent equality for Persons with Disabilities in the Singapore story, with the square symbolising strong building blocks towards an inclusive Singapore.

The 5 Cs of The Purple Parade
The Purple Parade unites Singapore through Campaigns, Carnivals, Concerts, Contingents, and Conversations, building a nation that celebrates and includes Persons with Disabilities at every step.
Carnival
Support the movement by purchasing The Purple Parade official merchandise. Join us on the event day and visit booths set up by our participating disability organisations and partners.
All proceeds will be distributed to participating Social Service Agencies, Charities, Charities with IPCs and Co-operatives.
Concert
Be captivated by the lineup of inclusive performances at The Purple Parade Concert! Performing groups from our participating disability organisations will be showcasing their talents through their performances.
Contingent
Champion a more inclusive Singapore where everyone is valued and empowered through our marches. Together, we walk in solidarity with the disability community to celebrate abilities and promote understanding.
Conversations
Learn about Persons with Disabilities as they share their lived experiences. Get a deeper understanding of the disability community through these meaningful dialogues.
