The Purple Parade Ltd (TPPL) Leadership Development Programme (LDP) is a curated series of best-of-class leadership workshops and activities to equip individuals with personal mastery, effective teamwork, and organizational leadership skills, tailored for the learning needs of persons with disabilities.
Officially launched by TPPL on 10 August 2024 with support from Central Singapore CDC, the LDP was designed to develop the leadership capabilities of PwDs for the workplace, enabling them to excel in their respective fields beyond the disability sector. The programme provides targeted support in their equipping through learning accommodations and mentoring relationships from experienced working professionals.

Individuals with Disabilities
Participants will undergo a monthly series of learning sessions consisting of Foundation modules over 12 months from July to June the following year, complemented by mentoring relationships. There are 2 electives offered outside of the 12 months for those interested in the elective topics.
Advance modules are offered as electives to participants who have completed the 12-month Foundation programme in the following academic year.
Foundation modules and electives will be fully subsidized for successful applicants.
Advance modules are available to participants who have successfully completed the Foundation modules, at 5% of programme cost.

To ensure an optimal programme experience, each cohort is capped at 15 participants. Shortlisted candidates will be invited for an interview as part of the final selection process.

This is designed to boost their social mobility, equipping them with vital skills to thrive professionally and identify personal barriers to career growth. By cultivating their leadership skills, we enable PwDs to surpass societal limits, paving the way for a more inclusive and vibrant social fabric in Singapore. Participants will undergo a monthly series of 1or 2-day learning sessions over 12 months, complemented by mentoring relationships.
We hope to build leadership cohorts of adults with disabilities who challenge and inspire each other to bring positive change in diverse industry sectors and nations. We believe that given the opportunity and access to the relevant skills training, PwDs can also excel as leaders of persons with and without disabilities.
The leadership framework for the LDP is built around 3 leadership competency categories of Lead Self, Lead Others and Lead Organisations. The Foundation Programme will only consist of Lead Self and Lead Others while programmes under Lead Organisations will be developed and made available as electives for our participants at a later stage.
